Introduction

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan invites applications from all over Pakistan including Azad Jammu and Kashmir nationals for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme (2024-25), which is launched by the Hungarian Government for Pakistani students who want to do Bachelor's, One-Tier Master's, Master's and PhD studies.The programme is managed by HEC, Pakistan in collaboration with Tempus Public Foundation, Hungary.

Application Requirement for Stipendium hungaricum Scholarship 2024-25

• All the instructions must be read carefully before applying for the scholarship. 

• Applicants must submit online applications at the Hungarian and HEC portals (separately) there is no hardform.If  applicants not submit online application on BOTH portals mentioned at serial 4 and 5 under will cause in rejection of application form.

• There is no need of hard copies of applications and other documents  at this stage of application process. However, if applicants wants  to keep record of all the submitted documents, along with printed copies of BOTH submitted application forms.

• Apply online at HEC scholarship portal Click Here.After registering and filling your profile, please select "Hungarian Scholarship Programme". Fill all the application form carefully and submit the online application.

• The applicants must submit applications on online portal othersiw form will be rejected. The recommendation of the nominating agency ie. HEC will be final and binding.

• Only SUBMITTED applications will be entertained. Submit your application before the last week if  possible to avoid any issue during last week before the deadline.

• The last date for the  form  submission of online applications on HEC scholarship portal is Monday, January 15, 2024 (1600 Hours Pakistan Standard Time) so submit your form before last date.

• HEC reserves the right to change, approve, reject, or withdraw any or all of the terms.

HEC Aptitude Test Requirements for Stipendium hungaricum Scholarship 2024-25

Applicants must have valid Higher Aptitude Test (HAT) and Undergraduate Studies Aptitude Test (USAT) which is  obtained after January 15, 2022 may submit their applications on HEC portal. Those applicants who have not given  HAT and USAT tests or if they have their test and  want to improve their test scores may register at https://etc.hec.gov.pk for the test which is upcoming at end of January 2024 or 1st week of February 2024.

Students seeking professional degrees in fields such as medicine, engineering, nursing, architecture, law, veterinary medicine, technology, etc. are solely responsible for verifying that the program has been accredited by the relevant councils, such as the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC), Pakistan Council for Architects and Town Planners (PCATP), Pakistan Bar Council (PBC), and Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council.Council (PVMC), National Technology Council etc.
